WWE NXT talents finished up for the rest of 2025 with a double taping on Wednesday, December 17 as the brand filmed the December 23 and December 30 editions of The CW show.

WWE continued the build to New Year's Evil at the tapings, and plans were put in place to resolve the botched NXT Women's North American Title change between Thea Hail and Blake Monroe.

December 23:

  • Lola Vice def. Izzi Dame - Vice picked up the win after Tatum Paxley chased away Shawn Spears with a chainsaw. Kelani Jordan attacked Vice after the match.
  • Blake Monroe interrupted a Thea Hail promo and an NXT Women's North American Title match was booked for New Year's Evil.
  • Tavion Heights def. Eli Knight
  • Je'Von Evans & Ricky Saints came face to face in a segment with Ava and a singles match was booked for December 30.
  • Shiloh Hill & Skylar Raye def. Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo & Arianna Grace - Christmas Chaos Match
  • Lexis King def. Andre Chase
  • Chelsea Green (c) def. Sol Ruca - Women's United States Championship - Alba Fyre interfered and prevented Sol Ruca from connecting with the Sol Snatcher which allowed Chelsea Green to hit the Unprettyher for the win.

December 30:

  • Tatum Paxley interrupted an Izzi Dame promo which led to a singles match between them being booked for New Year's Evil.
  • Jacy Jayne def. Wren Sinclar - Kendal Grey saved Sinclair from a beatdown post-match, and she held up the NXT Women's Title belt to end the segment.
  • Tavion Heights def. Lexis King in a squash.
  • OTM def. Swipe Right
  • DarkState interrupted a Joe Hendry concert and they laid out the former TNA World Champion. Tony D'Angelo watched from the shadows.
  • Ethan Page (c) def. Moose - NXT North American Championship
  • Ricky Saints def. Je'Von Evans - Saints won following a ref bump, low blow, and Roshambo.
