WWE's plans for AAA Triplemania 34 were officially revealed at Saturday's Backlash pay-per-view, with it being announced that Triplemania will be a two-night event on Friday, September 11 and Sunday, September 13. Night two of Triplemania 34 will emanate from Arena CDMX in Mexico City, but no location has been confirmed for night one as of yet.

According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, the reason for no location announcement for Triplemania 34 night one is due to major visa issues affecting Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. The issues are also behind AAA not announcing any shows in the United States for 2026 as of yet.

That hasn't stopped AAA talents from having a presence in the United States. A number of AAA wrestlers have worked WWE events in the US since WWE and Fillip completed the acquisition of AAA in 2025, and two joint AAA-WWE Worlds Collide shows were held last year in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

It appears the United States is under consideration for night one of Triplemania 34, with El Planchitas of Record Mexico reporting the September 11 event could be held in Las Vegas. Originally, WWE considered holding Triplemania in Tijuana, the Mexican city on the border with the United States.
