Update On Bayley's WWE Contract Status

The subject of Bayley’s professional wrestling future has been a hot one in recent weeks, with initial belief being that her recent absence would lead to an exit and move over to AEW. However, Bayley's return to television on Monday Night RAW sparked conflicting reports over whether or not she had signed a new deal with the promotion. More has now been learned on her status and future with WWE. 

According to a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bayley has still not signed a new deal with WWE, but there is certainly belief that one will be completed soon. It is noted that as of a few weeks ago, the two sides were very close on new terms to keep with the company, and her return to RAW is a sign of WWE’s expectation to get it done. 

Last month, Bayley’s antics caused widespread confusion within the wrestling world, making reference to AEW All In on social media. This reportedly drummed up both bafflement in both WWE and AEW due to the fact that she still had plenty of time left on her current WWE deal and that she had had no talks with the competition.
